Ghanaian dancehall star Stonebwoy has responded to recent comments made by his longtime rival, Shatta Wale, reigniting one of the country’s most talked-about music rivalries.
During a recent discussion, Shatta Wale claimed that Stonebwoy “used to call me daddy,” a remark that quickly went viral and sparked debate across social media. He also insisted that he holds no grudge against Stonebwoy and would have no issue if they met in the studio.
According to Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy would struggle to face him because of the confidence and energy he carries.
“My spirit is too big for him. When you meet people whose spirit is too big, you know. Me, I’m too confident. I’m not the fake type,” he said.
Stonebwoy has now responded, dismissing Shatta Wale’s claims and accusing him of being dishonest about their relationship.
Taking to X, the award-winning musician wrote:
“The last time you saw me, you hugged me like an obsessed woman. Aren’t you tired of lying?”
